IMO, historical significance aside, R16 just doesn't have the visual appeal of slants.Although I'd be fine with slants on north end, as to signify the difference between the different car types; very traditional on one end and very "modern" on the other. |

So they do DO test runs with recently restored subway cars. I always wondered if they did that to see if the car is ready or do they just hope for the best the day of the trip.Also its weird to see the 16 "operational". So used seeing it be a static display in the TM. So eerie seeing it with working headlights and all. |

Given the recent behavior shown on these trips by some fans, I don't think it matters what car runs on the points, the kids will get pushed out anyways.I hope the museum would also finally enforce their rule on No Tripods and Stands. There's always this one guy on these trips who comes with a monopod and camcorder and pushes everyone out of the way to get right up to the railfan window, blocking out enough space for 3 or 4 kids in the process. |
