Yup, those Boston air cars were almost fresh rebuilds before retirement in 92. They are probably the best out of all of them there except for the CTA/SEPTA spam cans. But then, everything there been sitting there in the woods since at least 1992. Three of the Boston air cars are indoors in the shops along with two Grand Rapids 1912 Kuhlman carbodies that are in amazing shape. The rest outside are victims of eastern road salt, 50 years of operation and being outside too long. |
