That's amazing. Who put all those cars there? I'd love to hear more about this.

Hate to tell everyone this, but the site pictures are actually in Pennsylvania. Someone didn't check their facts before submitting this article.

Also, the "New York Street Bus" pictured turns out to be a Calgary, Alberta CCF-Brill trolley coach. Go figure.

Is this Brookville back lot stash? Seems like many salvageable parts, just costly to remove carefully.

At this point maybe use a long flatbed truck or something similar.

Thank you, you can't believe everything that's printed. I was wary when it dd not say where in N.C. this forest was located.

Ed Metka has a field of bad looking trolleys , in their rusted condition.

Is this Brookville back lot stash?

No, that was in Brookville, about a hundred miles from Windber. That lot was cleared out a couple of years ago.

Yup, those Boston air cars were almost fresh rebuilds before retirement in 92. They are probably the best out of all of them there except for the CTA/SEPTA spam cans. But then, everything there been sitting there in the woods since at least 1992. Three of the Boston air cars are indoors in the shops along with two Grand Rapids 1912 Kuhlman carbodies that are in amazing shape. The rest outside are victims of eastern road salt, 50 years of operation and being outside too long.

They must be stored on an abandoned freight rail spur.

Anyone know which RR and/or branch ?
