Actuaally, I don't think the 51st St. tile job is all that awful in its own right. Rather, it's that the tiles are clearly stuck on the original job. If the job had been done properly, it would be tolerable.But as is, let's fire up the air compressor... |

I don't think MTA has the funds to remove the bathroom tiles....Description: Component Repairs at 3 Stations on the Broadway Line "This project will repair select station components at the Rector Street, Court Street, and Jay Street-Metro Tech Stations along the BMT Broadway Line in the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Work will vary by location and may include repair of mezzanine/control area walls, floors, ceilings and lighting; and platform edges, floors, walls and lighting." Supposedly finish by March 2015 They also repairing staircases at Rector ( Link 1 ), ( Link 2 ) |
