Interesting Reason Why New Cars Don't Have Red Colored Seating |

They explained the change of seat color from red/yellow to grey/blue as follows:"Transit designers thought that the red color was associated with violence and provoked vandals. The new tones are meant to be more soothing." Make sense?? |

I've heard some years ago from the car insurance institute that red cars are more likely to be involved in an accident than cars of another color. Maybe that "logic" transcends all modes of transportation??Remind me never to take another "red" eye flight!! |

What I heard about red cars is actually the opposite. Due their bright color, red cars and I think also yellow are less likely to be involved in an accident due to their high visibility. What I did hear was that red cars are more likely to be stolen than any other color. |
