I'm sure if the property was ever crawling with FRA personnel and/or "higher ups' from Metro North, he would have refrained from taking the pictures in the yards... Even if it's technically permissable, it's not worth dealing with the "suits" since they are usually ill informed on what's allowed and what's not allowed. |

When I was working 60 hours a week ,I spent very little time on the computer at home.Plus my wife got on my case for not spending time with her. Now I live alone and am retired so I post more but are involved with many forums and groups and Facebook so I rarely use Sub Chat, like at the most one-two hrs. a day.I often wonder how certain people post all day long, are they retired ,also? |

When I had a salaried "we don't care what you do or where you do it as long as the tasks get completed" job, I would spend as much as 70 to as little as 12 hours a week at work. During the lighter months, I could spend all day on internet forums and watching TV (sadly I at least had to be *near* work during business hours, so "the great outdoors" wasn't really an option for leisure). |

I check sub-talk about twice a day but I don't read every post. Some posters I don't bother to read at all and other times a thread just becomes a he said-she said argument. I now spend a lot of time working on my records and doing research for the Books (Last Runs, First Runs and Wrecks.) Plus I get down to NYC about once a week which is always fun. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
