Estimated cost of the project: $70 million to $130 million. Project description.... "TIMES SQUARE SHUTTLE IMPROVEMENTS - RECONFIGURE PLATFORM, REMOVE GAP FILLERS, ADD A NEW STRATEGIC CONTROL AREA NORTH OF 42ND STREET WHICH WILL IMPROVE TRAVEL TIMES" page 72 - nymtc No timetable on when they are going to start or finish this long delay project. I'm not an expert reading these documents, but it looks like this project is slated for FY2015, which starts October 1, 2014. That's just 6 months from now. |
