Like the IRT, the BRT and BMT was in the habit of ordering car bodies, electrical and brake equipment and trucks separately and installing them in the car bodies I don't know if that carried over to the Multis also but it definitely was the case with the ABs and D types. |

If that were the case how would the Triplex have been transported from the factory to the Coney Island shops? Those cars were extremely heavy. The Standards weren't what you would call a lightweight car either. |
