Broadway Lion might spew bad science to be thwapped back at him like a lazy underhand pitch and Olog makes such little sense that I can justify pulling an amusing schtick without worrying that any real people might consider me unreasonable for failing to address the word salad that passes for his "point," but you offer a unique mixture of confused certainty and unjustified ego that lets me dip into "condescending" without feeling like my wit is wasted on the terminally dumb. And the way you squirm around and try to retroactively change the meaning of statements that have already been made whenever you get stuck in a rhetorical trap is quite delightful indeed. |

OK, so unnecessary photography restrictions are not limited to the US and North Korea.I've heard Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, and now Ukraine all named as places where people have been told not to take photos in/of transit systems. However, I have yet to visit any of those countries. Still, though, that's some nice company the US is keeping, freedom-wise. |

The police on PATH WORK for the Port Authority. They are not NYPD, Jersey City PD, NJ Troopers or anyone else, they're the Port Authority Police Department and they're there to do what the Port wants them to.As for the photo ban being part of some separate rulebook or something, I don't know. I'm pretty sure it's on the same poster as the other rules and the warning that breaking them is an arrestable offense. And even if it is in a separate set of rules, breaking those could have some sort of penalty under the law too, I don't know. Also I'm not agreeing with the Port's rules or anything like that, matter of fact I'll take pics and vids on PATH myself just not at the trade center. Port and their PD are insane and I'm not in any rush to deal with them, try being held for over 3 hours then accused of terrorism by PAPD detectives just for shooting a video with an iPhone at EWR. |

Just so you know, the PAPD can ABSOLUTELY get NYPD, NYSP, or ANY other police reports. Everythings on computer these days and any PAPD detective can get whatever info they need when determining who gets the permits. Yes, the "civilians" in the PA are the ones you go to for the permits, but I can guarentee you they have a detective doing background checks on the applicants applying for the permits.Just so you know. |
