What a sad story, especially considering the fact that he was able to leave the school so easily. You would think a special needs school would make sure no one gets out of there like that. But, what happenned happened and we can worry about how it did later, right now everyone should be focused on finding this kid safe and sound.I recall there being shots on the news of them searching a train yard, IIRC the CSX yards in the Bronx and the reporter specifically saying he was into trains. Reminder to everyone of course: stay alert, be aware, speak up. Be on the lookout, not just in the transit systems but everywhere, and if you think you see this young man, tell a cop or call 911 immediately. You could save a poor young special needs man's life. Keeping him in my thoughts, wish the family and police the best of luck in finding him safe and sound. |
