Gasoline prices also spiked early this year.I wouldn't be surprised to find that part of this was the lingering effects of Sandy, given that the CT-NY-NJ metro area accounts for a huge portion of U.S. transit ridership. |

The big losers in heavy rail were PANYNJ (-14%) and SIR (-12%), but NYC Transit, NJ Transit, LIRR, and MNR only saw small decreases. Full report |
