palm trees and trespassing natives, need to be shoved aside too.
and its a plow, not a snow plow, even if it were not installed you still need a pilot plate of sufficient strength.

Wow...talk about "off brand". Looks exactly like an MP36 only cheaper. Also it's only getting 3600hp out of a V-20 diesel compared to 4200-4600 out of US designed V-12's and V-16's. I can't understand how people can sit around in a room and decide not to buy something off the shelf from MPI, or something new from an established builder like EMD or GE, but then pounce on an unproven offering from a maker of mining equipment and trolleys. Did they have a buy one get one free coupon or something?

So you want trains to be made in America, but you don't want "unproven" designs. So who is going to make your commuter rail multiple unit or push-pull, metro, and Stadtbahn rolling stock when GE hasn't made one in four decades, and EMD and MPI have no experience at all? Somebody is going to have to be tne "unproven" builder getting their first shot.

Even if you buy from an established builder you get a one-off design assembled in a pop-up plant. Look at EMD and the DE30AC and DM30AC.

That could happen if Brookville changes their name to Bombardier. But I suspect the Canadians might have a problem with that sort of strategy.

If Brookville became to successful they would be bought up by Bombardier, that is how the Canadians do business.

This is the least American offering with an MTU prime mover and unproven designs shouldn't get a shot unless existing market participants screw up somehow.

Well, it's got a prime mover with 263 cubic inches per cylinder (less than half the displacement of your typical 567), and it revs at 2100 rpm. High potential for being thirsty.

EMD farmed out the final assembly to Super Steel who were basically incompetent. They had all kinds of labor relations problems and technical problems at their pop-up plant in Scotia.

EMD probably should have farmed out the work to Kawasaki, Bombardier or Alstom who have established rail car plants in New York.

and design something. There are so many things your design team has to consider, so if it looks ugly, that's too bad.
