Naturally many of these questions will be answered when the NTSB issues its' report.I'm not sure if the employees, who are on the payroll can sue the employer. They would be on Workman's Compensation. |

Anyone suprised by this??Wait till the lawyers get a hold of passengers expecting a big class action suit & (taxpayer funded) payday I can just imagine several CT law firms high fiving each other salivating at the imagined awards forthcoming. Railroads do not have worker compensation under FELA the Employee has to sue or get nothing, not even medical bills paid. |
