Track geometry is essentially done at normal speed. The analysis of the rails performed by the Sperry Car is done at much slower speeds. |

Yes, not it is not likely to be an IJ...where is the impedance bond?CWR expansion joints are longer than that. It looks like a conventional 6-bolt joint bar. |

Oh, wait a second...the impedance bond is behind the guy in the hardhatstanding next to the guy with the badge. I can make out the cables and the joints there. So if there is another single plain joint a few feet away, that looks like a "dutchman" ... a small piece of rail spliced in to correct a previous defect. |
