All you need is a flathead screwdriver (or any other piece of metal longer than 3 inches) and you can easily get the door to open up. In the 90s this was commonly done by the vendors selling things car to car. Of course, you need to know to use the switch to get back in... trying to use the screwdriver method from the outside would probably lead to incidents like this. |

Correct.He was (illegally) crossing in between cars on an F between 15th St. and Ft. Hamilton Pky. He feel in between cars to the roadbed. The train did not go into emergency because no body parts struck a trip cock. His g/f informed the c/r what happened at Ft. Ham. station. The following train, a G, was informed of the situation and found the man on the roadbed in between stations. |
