I would imagine it'll just be the regular stops as far as it goes. From Boston, Back Bay, Westwood, Providence, New London and wuh-oh, last stop. Then it goes back. I really can't see them breaking out chutes and ladders for the other regionals. But it's a lot closer to NYP (and vice-versa) than not running them at all. |

Regular stops for the Acela or for the Regional? I suppose Mystic is the only station the Acela can't serve at all, since it lacks a wheelchair loading ramp, I think the handicapped accessibility at the other low platform stations is provided by a mini-high platform that the Acela could make use of. I still wonder, were there not enough Amfleet sets trapped in Boston to use on these services instead? |
