First, Q008, formerly Q108, East St. Louis IL to Little Ferry NJ, big time hot shot intermodal!!   Then, Q268 autorack train chock fulla' autos, Louisville KY to Doremus Avenue Auto Facilty (via Oak Island), Newark NJ  Fly, GEVO, FLYYYYYY!! Get them autos to Newark QUICK FAST!!!! I wish I had decent places around here to railfan shoot...the PJ Line is notoriously poor for that due to both poor schedules and very little places to shoot.My generous brother in law just sold me his gently used Canon Power Shot 5 IS, and I am itchin' to take some pics! |

Thank you, good buddy!! :-)Well since you are in Middletown, and the River Line is pretty much a hop skip and jump away from your location, why not take a little road venture to the east side of Rockland County? Hop down the thruway, and get off at the exit for Route 303 (West Nyack, by the Palisades Mall) and head either north or south on 303. From Tappan all the way north to West Haverstraw, much good shooting abounds. I have up there in the Haverstraw area before to shoot and the shooting is outstanding!! Take a gander, good buddy...... Valley Cottage Valley Cottage again!! Iona Island West Haverstraw Haverstraw Back and forth between Haverstraw and Congers |
