It has happened to me -- Queens bound.-- Over the D from Atlantic to Bway/Lafayette -- Over the M from W 4th to Queens Plaza Of course when the train pulls into those stations, most passengers just stared and couldn't figure out where it could possibly be running to. I just yelled out 'M train' and that helped. I've noticed that most conductors could do a poor job during reroutes of announcing to passengers at stations where that train is going -- for example on a D train rerouted to Kings Highway, all one conductor repeatedly said was "D to Kings Highway", saying "D making F stops" would have been far more helpful... better yet, can they just not quickly change the signage at least at the front of the train? |

Are you aware the c/r is getting bombarded with questions at his window at the same time?In addition, he has to get that train outta there as there are trains right behind him. A re-route usually has longer station dwell time. |
