They've never stopped. Most diesel locomotives in service today are American made. Except for the PL42's, what other model isn't?

PL42's are more American than the BL36's as the former utilizes an EMD prime mover whereas the latter uses a German one.

Yawn, a cheap MP36 knockoff with a fussy European engine. Should probably be about as successful as the Metro North beeps. Brookville should stick to making equipment with a trolley pole.

even PL42 was American made, only shells were build in Spain
