Yes, a very nice collection.The booklet about "The NX System" made me think of the NX train that ran in 1967-68 on the Sea Beach express tracks. I looked at the first few pages of the PDF booklet, and there is even a page that has the letters NX enclosed in a colored circle, kind of like the one the NX train carried (though not the same color). And the NX train was distinguished by the fact there were no signals along the Sea Beach express track. So, besides meaning "N (express version)", does anyone think that the designation NX for that train may have been a bit of an inside joke referring to this signal system? |

Read the manual and it will explain further. There used to be a simulator program called NXsys which would have allowed you to "play with the technology" but I can't find it on Google. :-( |
