Posted by andy on Thu Jun 21 19:00:23 2012 A LIRR seat drop this morning highlighted the FastTrack program scheduled next week for the 1,2,3 lines south of 34th Street. Obviously made sense to share this info with LIRR riders. The large type at then top correctly identified next Monday - Thursday June 25-28 as the dates when the service interruptions will occur.Except that the card said, "If you use the 123 weeknights for travel between Midtown, Lower Manhattan, and Downtown Brooklyn, New York City Transit wants you to know that on four consecutive weeknights IN FEBRUARY [my caps] there will be no trains between 34th St/Penn Station and Atlantic Avenue." Someone forgot to proofread after borrowing from a older version. |
