I'm with you on this. Instead of getting all weepy about endangered species, I like species that thrive around man- pidgeons, rats, roaches, ants, racoons, bats.

I don't want pandas or what not to disappear, but I somehow have more respect for the unkillable species...kinda off topic I know, but what the heck.

Bats are in grave danger due to a fungus someone accidently brought over from Europe a few years ago. We could see the local extinction of bats in the entire Northeast by 2 years.
