Posted by chuchubob on Sat May 5 14:28:44 2012 May 4: 4 to 6 PM at Temple Utrain 7842 to Fox Chase   train 3596 to Doylestown with three Reading Budds; pan down on 9006   trains 553 and 9561 to Thorndale   train 6374 to West Trenton: the ALP44/Comet train   train 9251 to Newark, DE, had five Budds and one Louie: 9001, camera car 266, 9010, 235, 216, and 256       train 6444 to Warminster  train 6378 to West Trenton  North Penn Limited (scheduled push-pull) to Doylestown  bonus: Broad Street Subway stealth car 666 at Walnut-Locust

Nice shots!One minor edit, however: No scheduled trains to Doylestown are push-pulls. They are, AFAIK, prohibited from running north of Lansdale so they don't blow the substation. The N.P.L. is allowed by special instruction to run with 7 MUs and to not adhere to the P2 controller restriction on the Doylestown Branch. |
