It's not nearly as scenic as the gold line and it doesn't run in the middle of a freeway at the end or at any point. It's more like an east/west blue line, but with more destinations and much nicer. |

They've been on the blue line for several months.Also the blue line is getting rehabbed with new canopies, new monitors, benches, etc and getting a good scrub. :) Already started according to metro, although I haven't seen any evidence of it. |

Regardless, I'll make my way to LA one these days. LACMTA's somewhat interesting, and it's easy to get San Diego out of the way. Mind you, there are far too many other priorities for railfanning including CTA, but also London Underground and the TGV... |
