Posted by chuchubob on Thu Apr 26 17:08:05 2012 northbound River LINE meeting CSX C759 at CP HATCH southbound five minutes later   Bombardier Transportation track car six minutes later   Meanwhile, a half mile away, a NJ Transit welded rail train dropped two rails on the former Conrail Delair Industrial Track, which is now controlled by Transit for use as a two track Atlantic City Line station at the Pennsauken Transit Center. photographed at Westfield Ave after leaving the rais behind

Nice shots, great catch. 1 GP40PH-2 and 2 GP40-2s for a CWR train????? Kind of overkill don't they think??? (About 3000 hp x 3, about 9000 hp altogether)MNR puts just 2 GP35Rs on our CWR trains (about 2500 hp each), and the 2 GP35Rs haul the train with no problems at all from what I've seen. |
