Phoenix SkyTrain

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport has taken delivery of 8 cars for the SkyTrain. They can be seen at the east end of the airport, between 44th St. and Washington and the entrance to the airport. They are sitting on the incline leading to the East long term parking building.

Sorry no pics. Don`t have a digital camera and me and technology aren`t getting along very well lately.

Well, after all, Laker presumably borrowed the name from the USAAC's designation for the C-47 (the military version of the DC-3).
