Question for Neil about Tamron lens

Neil, the reviews I've read for the tamron SP70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC (I think that's the lens you own) say the focus is soft at 300mm unless you stop it down to f/8 or smaller. Have you found this to be true?

I don't have an issue only because most times I edit my photos to improve sharpness, and clarity!

Do me a favor, please. Take some long-distance tele shots at 300mm. You should be able to manually set the f/stop on the lens. Please take the same shot using different f/stops, from f.5.6 to f/16, and let me know how sharp or not sharp the f/5.6 and f/8 photos are.

I can do that, but it may not be right away! If you see any photos, save it, and check the settings properties on your computer!
