Actually they did, look at how the car is positioned. I know that crossing VERY well. It was recently repaved with the concrete center instead of the rubber center. Still, there is a tiny street that runs right along the tracks for all of 14 feet that connects the two roads that fork right at the crossing (New London Rd and W Main St). They probably tried turning onto that road and messed up. |

It's hard to tell but just watch. The train hits the car almost dead on. She turned right off Main St onto the tracks at the crossing it looks like. Again, I've walked across that crossing hundreds of times when I was a freshman, and I still stumble across it on occasion (Deer Park Tavern is right next to the crossing) |
