And I repect that...I don't attend those trips for other reasons. Look the Transit Museum just hit me up for a Sizeable donation for their new Power exhibit and I'm not even into Power. The deal was I was supposed to see the Rail Control Center and instead I got to see the Power Control Center. The Museum people didn't know the difference Oh well. I been asking for years to see the RCC on 53rd street to no avail but there was no problem getting me in the Power exhibit in the same building & I guess differentt floor. Go figure? |

I won't go just to "support the museum". I am NOT going to pay $35 for ONE PHOTO and a lousy one at that since the train will not pose properly for it (done those trips in the past and have nothing to show for them). And don't give me the "line" about memories - memories are fleeting - I don't remember anything about them. PICTURES are what counts! The museum ran a great trip last year and I would have gladly attended another IF they did the same thing this year. They are not doing it so the trips are worthless to me. You like them - go and have fun - your choice. |
