(Does the train go BIE whenever it stops at a station?) It causes the train to lose indication, which in turn causes the train to lose power. |

Posted by Gotham Bus Co. on Mon Jun 20 19:58:03 2005, in response to $100 fine for holding doors, posted by joe c on Fri Jun 17 12:49:56 2005. There should be a fine for holding train doors open, and it should be more than $100...FIRST: Holding the doors damages the door motors and thus constitutes vandalism. SECOND: Holding the doors for one additional person delays everybody else, and thus imposes a cost on society. The door-holder should be ready and willing to pay that cost. |
