If you're talking about a biphase shaft encoder on the axle, then it isn't there. If you're talking about an inductive probe sensing gear teeth back by the motor, then it's not there. There are provisions for future mounting of the above devices on the trucks.That is what I was talking about. It is possible to have a closed loop motor controller that uses the current as the feedback. However, they are not as effective as those that use the motor speed. They did advertise the propulsion units as being closed loop. Snake oil? |
