NTP works best when the client has several higher strata serversfrom which to receive updates. In this way, the actual drift of the local clock can be accurately estimated. With regard to determining speed and position based on axle rotation, I happen to agree with you. By utilizing sensor diversity, it is possible to overcome the basic unreliability of taking the data from a single axle which is subject to locking up. |
