It's also my understanding that many families live simply on tzedakah; they also believe that on Rosh Hashana each year, all that will be great for their family will be proscribed by g-d.I've also known a few families in the US who are outright welfare cases, and others who are complete cheats. I don't know what the situation is in Israel. |
