You are anti-semetic something I normally do not say on here or elsewhere for that matter but your posts have got me to the point where I have to say something. The webmaster IMHO should ban you but even more than that you need serious psychiatric help, sorry. I still hope you get the help you need.

I give up. You win. You've just condemned all Atheists as well as all those who dare to question the validity, character, methods, and sanctity of religious belief (as well as mock the more ridiculous points of religion), as mentally ill. I can't stand up to such a profound concept.

Checkmate. Game Over. You've shown me. Only problem is that what you've shown me has proven my points all along. But you'll never grasp that. In your circle you've vanquished yet another rasha out to do you harm, instead of seeing critics as potential aids to help something that may be well-intentioned but seriously flawed and actually harmful. Flaws? What flaws? What harm? This is God's word, for crying out loud! . . . Oh, nevermind.

I attended Hebrew school. Five years worth. I became a Bar Mitzvah. That "shelo asani isha" paryer came right from my Shilo Prayer Book given to me on my consecration. I was skeptical about the whole need for Jews to remain separate and distinct from the societies in which they lived even then, and only more so now with a fully-developed adult mind.

Damn it, I've earned the right to be critical of a system that has let me, and countless other people down, due to the obsessive zeal many use in their practice of that system. One of my relatives actually unscrews the light bulb in the refrigerator on the Sabbath lest someone grab a snack and accidentally light the light bulb when the door opens. Another of my relatives firmly believes that the Holocaust was God's angry message to Jews to be more faithful and observant, and it is a Jew's responsibility to marry other Jews in order to spawn enough purely pedigree Jewish children to make up for the six million lost.

I won't get into the third and fourth and fifth relatives. But these views are part and parcel of Jewish groupthink. Not just limited to my family of meshuggenas. I hear them constantly, and it makes me sick how whole families can yoke their impressionable kids to this repressive, miserable, archaic death sentence of a lifestyle and deprive themselves and their loved ones of the chance to live without the guilt, shame, and sense of empty obligation that punctuates Judaism.

Folks, we are fighting a war against people who believe their god wants them to exterminate all those who don't think like they do. They fly airplanes into buildings, bomb city centers, and create all manners of mayhem because, according to the Koran, if you're not Muslim, you're expendable. If you're not strictly observant of the Muslim faith, you're an infidel just the same. The Haredim think that baal teshuvim (born-again Jews, if you will) are not really Jews and not sincere in their desire to be more religious -- the rate of recidivism is too high. They discount conversions from those rabbis with whom they disagree ideologically. One son-of-a-bitch rabbi in jail (HA!) won't eat the Kosher food he's given because he hates the rabbi who oversees the kitchen, or some such nonsense. It was in the paper a few days ago.

It's the same difference. Muslim intolerance. Jewish intolerance. Christian intolerance. It's fucking intolerance.

If we can't get over our religious differences and realize that it is all just a crock of human-contrived shit meant to take advantage of the ignorance and naivete of the population at large while making the charlatan heads of these faiths wealthy and comfortable beyond belief, then how are we going to overcome our other differences that are far less transparent?

Do you know how many times I hear "Adam, you're a great guy . . . oh shit, you're Jewish? How could that be? You're not cheap, you don't wear a yarmulka, and you don't keep Kosher," and then I see them shriveling in the chair they're sitting in, as if they are now waiting for me to transform into their worst nightmares of dealing with other Jews personified.

I have to laugh an angry laugh at that. Here I am, wearing no insignia of my faith -- no Jewish stars, Chai charms, or yarmulkas, much less peyess or tzitzis -- and I'm Adam the good ole boy. Once they find out I can speak Hebrew or know something about Judaism, I become the devil incarnate. It never fails.

Now if we can't get over our religious prejudices -- once again from just up above, three paragraphs -- when religion is completely transparent and cuts across all racial, cultural, social, and economic cohorts, then how the hell can we sincerely overcome hurdles in race relations where the differences between two people of different races are far more obvious (I'm talking outward appearance, cultural background, etc, and not aptitude or ability)? We don't stand a chance.

If we can't get over "My God is better than your God," how can we overcome "My skin color is better than your skin color?" You can't change skin color easily, unless you're Michelle Jackson. You're pretty much stuck with your race, but you can change religions about as often as you change . . . alright I won't get vulgar, but you get the idea.

Only religious parrots -- the disingenuously "pious" -- couldn't care less about race or religious relations. Their god is their god, and fuck you.

Tear down the artifical barrier of religion, and you may have just torn down the last barrier to world peace.
