Again, I know things by virtue of having lived here for most of the past year and having frequent interactions with Israelis before that time that I'm fairly confident you don't have. Israelis don't agree on much as a society, but they generally all resent outsiders trying to determine the future of the country. Netanyahu summed it up well when he said this to a US diplomat: “You live in Chevy Chase. Don't play with our future.” Israelis all over the political spectrum would agree with that statement. |
