These people carp about immodesty, but what about their dress is immodest? It is pure fetishism and vanity -- a bedazzling display to the rest of the non-believing world to show them how devout they are to their sky friend that chose them and not you to live such a repressive life instead of keeping their damned superstitions and repressions to themselves and allowing the rest of the world to live as it sees fit. It advertises their cause better than any baseball jersey advertises the team allegiance of the one wearing it. Come to think of it, a chick in a bikini at the beach or in a blouse and pants on the light rail is more modest and does a better job to blend in and not cause a stir than seeing these pathetic, sad, anachronistic caricatures walking around scolding others for enjoying life itself, instead of following their way and submitting to and obeying a bunch of false prophets who profit off their flock's imposed misery. |
