"Despite what you hear about Israel in the media"I think Israel gets a bad rep from the media. The media sensationalizes everything including the unfortunate incidents. In the past I have foolishly taken their bait, but I do want to visit the country and hope to at some point in the future. As for the segregated cars, I think it wouldn't be out of the ordinary. At least it is for religious reasones, whereas in the Philippines they have women-only cars but it is for the safety of the women as in the past there were incidents of men groping the women on the light rail. |
