I use public transportation in Israel all the time with no concerns at all. Things have been quiet, I attribute it to the security fence, among other things.Do come. Despite what you hear about Israel in the media and from certain poster on OTChat, it is a wonderful place and very safe to visit. If all goes well, I'll be here in Jerusalem when the light rail opens next year, and I'll be sure to post photos and videos of the construction progress until then.
