Maybe they'd be outraged by the amount of $$$ they lose on the "Pink Slips" that Metro-North hand out to deadbeats. I ran a thread on that subject a few weeks ago & I still shake my head at the money that is lost. Like to have NY1 latch on to that story!!Leave it to the biased media to crucify the workers that take advantage of existing collective bargaining aggrements to make the justified overtime. Sure, there are abuses, Im sure no one here is naive enough to believe there is'int, but to broad brush the worker to give the implication that the o/t is not justified & a case of the workers ripping off the system is just plain wrong. Lets not forget that any o/t slips that get approved by payroll has to be signed off by managment. |
