The news media goes solely by the raw cash amount. They don't analyze what is justified or what is not because the headline IS what grabs the attention and not the body of the story. As I said, it means nothing since the 140 is not broken down agency by agency.The news media couldn't care less what overtime is justified and what is not even if some t/o or c/r makes and extra trip at the end of their day on overtime so as to avoid an abandonment of an interval. |
