When I first started drinking, I noticed that Piel's seemed to taste watered down compared to other brands such as Ballantine's which my father used to drink. These days I prefer a darker beer or ale such as Smithwick's and even on occasion Guinness or other types of stout. On a really hot day, however when COLD matters more than taste, I might go to one of the light beers like Coors or a Bud Light depending upon what the bartender says is the coldest beer in the house. |
