The building second from left, with the arched windows, was a carbarn, but accessible only from the other side on 51st Avenue (formerly Third Street), at least in later years. The large doors shown in this photo, however, indicate there may have been an entrance from Borden Avenue at one time, especially since there was a stub-end track on Borden that ended just east of the carbarn, from which it may have curved into the barn. |
