Metrobus really needs to get into the present day instead of living in the 1970s. I was disappointed to see that when the fare/service changes were approved, that every Metrobus that was up for elimination or restructuring was saved, even though it seems to me that many of these routes and services are only providing transit to a handful of people and are not efficient to operate. In my opinion, a massive reevaluation of the entire bus system is in order, and once that evaluation is complete, the bus routes should be modified to complement the rail system better, meet existing demands and travel patterns, and to be less wasteful. |
