No way it was a simple misunderstanding. The cops knew they were wrong and so lied -- flagrantly -- that they were told the photography was for commercial purposes, which, if true, would have given them the right to prohibit it without a permit.That is classic cop lying -- just as when they beat someone up and falsely claim the person was "resisting arrest" -- and is the real reason they don't like people videotaping them. |
