On the Long Beach branch:Center Avenue, East Rockaway and Oceanside were Zone 5 Island Park and Long Beach were Zone 6 On the Babylon: Rockville Centre, Baldwin and Freeport were Zone 5 Merrick, Bellmore and Wantagh were Zone 6 I don't recall the Oyster Bay, Huntington or Ronkonkoma branches. I don't know if this is still the case, but there used to be a system map on the back of the tickets that conductors sold on board. The lines were there for the current zones, but if you drew a horizontal line across between Freeport and Merrick and then another between Wantagh and Seaford, you could see which stations were in Zone 5 vs Zone 6 or Zone 6 vs Zone 7. |
