The Bway Bkln lcl operated only during rush hoursOnly after 1952. Before 1951 it was daytime Mon to Sat. even then there were only 3 intervals in the AM and PM rush that operated through to/from Canarsie. I worked there as both a C/R and Tw/M so I know with a relatively high degree of certainty. That occurred in 1956, after BMT Fulton line service was discontinued. 14th St-Fulton St trains were re-routed to Rockaway Pkwy. This was more than Canarsie could handle so some Bway locals were re-routed to Crescent St. |
