The old alignment allowed trains to transfer but not passengers (so you had to ride the appropriate through-train). IINM, until the opening of the Canarsie line, there was a service from the Broadway El to the eastern Fulton line, but was replaced with a 14th Street-Eastern Line. I don't know when they stopped running Fulton-Fulton (note Broadway El uses Fulton east of BJ) service if they ever did. |
