However, it is interesting to compare the old and the new.My Grandfather and family moved to the Bronx from Truxton St about 1914. My Grandfater's brother moved back to Brooklyn Heights, from where Great Grandfather settled in the 1880's. Both my Grandfather and his brother married Brooklyn Girls. My Grandmother preferred the open spaces of the Bronx. My father resided in the Bronx for most of his life after then, from whence I was derived.
