LOL. But then, from where I'm sitting (in England) it seems to me that people here often argue, in effect, that NYC as a whole is oh so different! So that things that are taken for granted in other large rapid transit systems around the world - like OPTO, and POP fare systems, and electronic signs that tell you (accurately!) when the next train is coming and where it is going to - can't possibly work in NYC and never will....
