"There is a limit as to how far one can travel on local transit in a given time period anyway, so there is no big revenue hole in making the entire U.S. one fare zone."Imagine trying to get this through congress, plus the states and local governments regulate mass transit not the federal government. "The Uniform Transit Fare Act of 2010" would go nowhere! |
